Hello, I'm Darryl Scott. This is our privacy policy, and it explains how Train for Now and Study for Now look after your personal information. It covers what we collect, why we collect it, where it is stored, and the choices you have. We wrote it so everyone takes it in whatever way works best for them. Listen to each section, read it in plain words, read the full text, or download the P D F. If anything here is hard to follow, or you need it in another format, email info at train for now dot com, and we will help. In short: we collect only what we need, we never sell your information, our main database is in Sydney, and you stay in control of your information.

Section one. Who we are, and what this policy covers. Train for Now and Study for Now are run by Savili Maiava and Darryl Scott Proprietary Limited, a company based in Queensland, Australia. This policy covers our websites, the T Four Now app, Training Builder, the S Four Now app for Study for Now, the Access for Now reading tools, our launch list, and Peer Connect. We follow the Privacy Act nineteen eighty-eight, and the thirteen Australian Privacy Principles.
2. What we collect
2. What we collect
0:00 / 0:00
In plain words: Only what each service needs: contact details, account and payment details, your content and study work, speech input when you use it, your accessibility settings, and basic usage data.

Section two. What we collect. We collect only what each service needs. If you join the launch list, or send us a message, we collect your name and email, and a WhatsApp number if you choose to give one. If you create an account, we collect your account and sign-in details. If you pay, our payment provider takes your card details. We never see or store your full card number. Trainers' content, and learners' study material, notes and drafts, are stored, ready for you to keep working on them. When you use speech input, your speech is turned into text. Your accessibility settings, like font and spacing, are saved on your own device. And we keep basic usage and error information, to keep everything working. One request. If your content includes information about other people, please only add it with their consent.
3. Learners under 18 and under 16
3. Learners under 18 and under 16
0:00 / 0:00
In plain words: Under 16: a parent or guardian sets up access. 16 and 17: learners set up their own. Study4NOW is study only, with no public profiles or open chat.
Read the audio script
Section three. Learners under eighteen, and under sixteen. Study for Now is built for study only. There are no public profiles, no posts, and no open chat between learners, and the A I stays on study topics. If a learner is under sixteen, a parent or guardian sets up access and gives consent for them. Learners aged sixteen and seventeen set up their own access, and we collect only what the service needs. Where a TAFE, R T O, school or employer gives learners access, the organisation's own consent and duty of care processes also apply. A new Children's Online Privacy Code is due by the tenth of December, twenty twenty-six, and we will update this policy to meet it.
4. How we use your information
4. How we use your information
0:00 / 0:00
In plain words: To run our services, reply to you, take payments and send launch news you agreed to. Never for advertising, never sold. Our AI never makes decisions about you.
Read the audio script
Section four. How we use your information. We use it to run and improve our services, protect your account, take payments, provide the A I and voice features you ask for, reply to your messages, and meet the law. We send launch news only when you have said yes, and every message tells you how to stop them. We never sell your information, and we never use it for advertising. And one important promise. Our A I features support people. They never make a decision about you, like an assessment result or a grade. People make those decisions.
5. Services we use and where they operate
5. Services we use and where they operate
0:00 / 0:00
In plain words: Our main database is in Sydney. Some services we rely on, such as sign-in, payments, hosting, AI and email, are run from overseas. Every one is named in the full policy.

Section five. The services we use, and where they operate. Our main database, where accounts and saved work are kept, is in Sydney, Australia. Some services we rely on are run from overseas. These include sign-in, payments, website hosting, A I text and voice tools, and email. Every one is named in the full written policy, with what it does and where it operates. Australian privacy law keeps us accountable for your information, even when an overseas service handles it. If a service we use has a data breach affecting you, we will tell you.
6. Keeping it safe, and data breaches
6. Keeping it safe, and data breaches
0:00 / 0:00
In plain words: Encrypted connections, protected sign-in and access controls. If a breach is likely to cause serious harm, we tell you and the privacy regulator.
Read the audio script
Section six. Keeping your information safe, and what happens if something goes wrong. Your information travels over encrypted connections. Sign-in is managed by a specialist provider, and each person's content is tied to their own account. Study for Now saves drafts on the learner's own device as they work, so a lost connection does not lose their work. If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we tell you, and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. If an organisation gave you access, we tell them too.

Payment records are kept for seven years, because Australian tax law requires it. Launch list details are kept until you unsubscribe. We use only the cookies needed for sign-in. Your accessibility settings and Study for Now drafts are kept on your own device. We do not use advertising cookies.
